Functional Tests can help….

Digestion, Food Intolerance and Weight

DIGESTIVE ISSUES

If you have digestive issues, this can effect your energy levels, weight gain or loss and skin health like acne. It can also contribute to heartburn/reflux, belching, bloating, flatulence, constipation, diarrhoea or any other digestive concern. I will work with you to identify the underlying cause of your digestive issues.

FOOD SENSITIVITIES

Food intolerances and sensitivities can affect your digestive system, your energy levels, and all of the above Digestive issues. Using food intolerance testing or kinesiology (muscle testing), we can identify potential food intolerances/sensitivities and advise on the best path forward to improve wellbeing.

BLOOD SUGAR IMBALANCE

If you experience mood swings, become irritable or ‘Hangry’ on a daily basis, crave sugary foods, weight gain/loss or have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, then undertaking small steps in diet and lifestyle changes may support your blood sugar balance which may improve your energy and wellbeing.

Thyroid, Energy, Fatigue, and Sleep

THYROID DYSFUNCTION

Thyroid hormones are required by your body to produce energy – a thyroid that is struggling can result in a lack of energy, weight gain, constipation, dry skin and feeling cold among other symptoms. Whereas an overactive Thyroid can present as anxious, irritable, Heat sensitive, increased heart rate and/or weight loss – to name a few. Working with your GP where possible, we will identify your thyroid status, and assist your Thyroid Health with small steps in Diet and Lifestyle to ensure lasting results.

INSOMNIA AND SLEEP ISSUES

If you struggle to fall asleep, you wake during the night, wake up too early when you would rather still be sleeping, some simple dietary and Lifestyle changes may improve your sleep quality, duration and therefore energy.

POST VIRAL FATIGUE

If you have fatigue that started during/after a viral or bacterial infection – some simple dietary tweaks or supplements may help improve your energy levels.

Chronic Pain

Chronic Pain can be frustrating and even more so as often it is accompanied by other symptoms that include aching, fatigue, brain fog, depression, sleep disturbance and more. It can also take a long time to receive a diagnosis, which leaves a person very disheartened. Pain can present with differing symptoms in different individuals. By identifying individual requirements and implementing a plan through Diet, Lifestyle and Bodywork, we can work towards improving symptoms, overall function and in turn improve quality of life.
